To support the work, the organization established an initial QA Advisory Board to work on its Strategic Framework, mission, pillars of work and the process to recognize a Quality Assurance organization’s quality work through a Quality Seal Award.
The next phase of work includes the establishment of a governance structure and the additional advisory committees as demonstrated in the diagram below.

ICQ's Three Stakeholder Groups
ICQ aims to create a global network with QA organizations, SUDs treatment service providers, and patients, family and caregiver groups to identify, share, and promote good practices.

To that end, we established the QA organizations Advisory Committee in mid 2022. Our phased approach to the establishment of these three advisory committees is described below:

We continue working toward the other two committees, hoping to have the Treatment Service Providers Advisory Committee by 2024 and the Patient, Family and Caregivers Advisory Committee by 2026.
