Dr Tariq Khan Anwo

I was in continuous contact with Dr Tariq since 2013. A man was dedicated to profession; a man wanted to bring a real change in Pakistan through reduction in the substance use; a man who also wanted to protect the youth; a Man who really want the professionalizing of the services use related with treatment of SUD and prevention. I can never forget you. During 2018 he used to call me daily everyday early in the morning, send the voice messages, talk about how the non Professional behaviour of the people is ruining life of the SUD. He was quite frustrated and wanted to have change in the attitude of the professionals. He always talked about the people who were trying to hinder his work particularly for the prevention of substance use in the country. I salute you my dear friend Doctor Tariq. You were a beacon in the field ofyof Substance Use Prevention and a Twilight. May you rest in peace in heaven. Ameen
