Pakistan is among the the highly affected country when mentioned or discussed relating drugs and HIV. it's not hard to understand that person using drugs specially needles is very much in high risk to have HIV. And in Pakistan the ratio of using drugs and HIV is growing year by year which is very alarming and dangerous. It's a burning issue which has to be addressed on international forums. UNODC efforts in this regard is highly appreciated. NGO's working in the field of addiction needs to enhance their knowledge and skills to work more effectively among the people affected by addiction and HIV. Trainings in this regard are very much needed in Pakistan.
