Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) organized a five-day training for drug addiction treatment professionals, including doctors, counselors, managers and other professionals from different hospitals, drug treatment and rehabilitation centers. The training was held on Universal Treatment Curriculum-3 “Common Co-Occurring Mental and Medical Disorders – an Overview for Addiction Professionals” and Curriculum-5 “Crisis Intervention for Addiction Professionals”. The training was kicked off on 6 May 2018 and the closing ceremony was held on 10 May 2018 at the Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Health Sector Training room.

The specialized trainers provided training on various topics of those two curricula and Md. Amir Hossain, International Addiction Professional (ICAP-1) and Clinical Psychologist conducted the whole training. Assistant Director of Health Sector, Dhaka Ahsania Mission Md. Mukhlesur Rahman handed over the certificate to the participants in the certificate giving ceremony.

Dhaka Ahsania Mission is the first ICCE approved non-governmental organization in Bangladesh that is working as an education provider in the drug addiction treatment and prevention field.
