ADDICTOLOGY Journal

ADDICTOLOGY is an online, peer-reviewed international professional journal that publishes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scientific studies on psychoactive substance use, behavioural addictions, and other related topics. It has been provided through Charles University in Prague and is now a collaborative development with ISSUP.

The Journal publishes four issues in one volume annually. Articles are accepted in English only.

Article types published in ADDICTOLOGY

The journal publishes peer-reviewed submissions, including original research articles, short reports, and contributions on education and practice. Some article types, including news and Letters to the Editor, may be accepted without peer review.

Article preparation and ethics

Submissions must meet the formal and ethical requirements of the Editorial Office. Articles not conforming to these guidelines may be returned or rejected prior to the review procedure. Full guidance for authors is available here.

Article submission process

Articles should be submitted to the Editorial Office by email at: journal [dot] adiktologie [at] lf1 [dot] cuni [dot] cz (journal[dot]adiktologie[at]lf1[dot]cuni[dot]cz)

The editorial office will confirm receipt of the contribution within 10 days. Articles complying with the specified requirements will be peer-reviewed and the result will be communicated to the author. Authors may be contacted if any updates are required.

Fees

An article processing charge of EUR 300.00 + VAT (21%) (free of all additional fees) is applicable. Where reasonable, the fee may be reduced or not applied at all, especially regarding articles requested by the editorial office and/or papers which are not affiliated with, or receiving financial support from, grant projects. Each case will be considered individually by the publisher.
